Hi Friends! This is Gem! 💎
This next post is about the life of Joseph.
Joseph had a hard life, yet he consistently chose to do the right thing. He was betrayed by his brothers, sold into slavery, falsely accused, and thrown into prison. Through it all, God was with him, and the dream God gave him eventually came to pass.
Sometimes we go through difficult circumstances. It’s easy to become selfish, bitter, or blame the people around us for our problems. But Scripture tells us to bring our worries to God, trust Him, and follow His ways. Often that goes against every emotion, instinct, and trigger we have.
Yet time and time again, the Bible proves true. God’s way is always best for us, even when it doesn’t feel that way in the moment.
When difficult situations arise, choose to do the right thing and love others. Ask yourself, “How would God want me to respond?” When we truly care for those around us and love them the way God loves us, it takes us to a deeper place of supernatural love.
“We love because He first loved us.”
There are countless blessings that come from following God, but one of the greatest is the transformation of our character. God is not primarily concerned with our personal goals, dreams, or plans. More than anything, He desires that we become more like Him and grow in a deeper relationship with Him.
Joseph’s story reminds us that obedience is never wasted. God sees our faithfulness, works through our hardships, and uses every circumstance to shape us into who He created us to be.
